How To Register Your Youth Group

How to Register a Youth Volunteer Group

Log in or create an Arc Volunteer Account.
You must have an Arc Volunteer Account to self-register your group.
Learn how to register at https://www.volunteerforarc.org/user/register/.
One person will be designated as the Group Lead.
The Group Lead will create and register their group.
See below for details on how to Access, Manage and Add Others to Your Volunteer Group.

Selecting Your Arc's Value Village Volunteer Opportunity

Select the program you wish to volunteer for (Bloomington, Richfield or New Hope).
Select the date and shift time you wish to volunteer for.
If you are a returning group, select the group name you previously volunteered with.
If you are new group, you will create and type in your Group's Name. To do this:
- Click Add Me - Assign yourself as Group Leader. This will give you the option to edit your team’s volunteer count after registering for your shift.
- Reserve Additional Slots for group members. Type in the number of volunteers you will be bringing We understand this number is an estimate. That is fine.
- Confirm the shift date and time you selected.
- Press Finish. You have now created your group and are signed up to volunteer.
- Contact volunteernow@arcminnesota.org if you believe you were supposed to be assigned as the user group leader.

How to Access, Manage and Add Others To Your Group

Click your profile image or the initials from the top menu bar.
Select My User Groups.
Once in the My User Groups area, review and manage your roster of attendees.
Click the pencil icon under the Options column.
After you click the pencil icon from the My User Groups, it opens a new window. This window will have the most current list of volunteers.
Only group leaders will have the pencil icon.
Once there, you can export a list of the members to a CSV Copy or you can copy a Join Link to share with others so they can add themselves to your group. This not required to sign up your group.
Contact volunteernow@arcminnesota.org if you believe you were supposed to be assigned as the group leader.

Once your group has been signed up, a confirmation email will be sent to the Group Lead. The Group Lead then forwards the email to all volunteers who will be participating. Questions or concerns?
