Who We Are

The Arc Minnesota strives to end having people with disabilities live in isolation, segregation and poverty. We do this through our efforts in self-advocacy, leadership development, individual advocacy, systems engagement and social change.  Our goal is to ensure all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access, belonging and justice.

Alongside disabled leaders, parents, family members, support professionals and coalition partners, The Arc works to provide information to individuals and advance policy solutions that create positive systems and social change for Minnesotans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What We Do

Volunteers interested in creating short term solutions and long term societal change have numerous opportunities to get involved with The Arc.  Volunteers can participate with our Regional Quality Councils, booths, presentations, contacting elected officials, voter education and civil rights related activities to name a few.  Time commitments can be one-time, episodic or ongoing.
